Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) was founded in 1967 by Richard Wurmbrand, who spent fourteen years in Communist prison in Romania . Visit www.vom.com.au to find out more.

Current CEO of VOM is Tony Benjamin. Born in Cape Town South Africa, Tony at age seven, announced he wanted to be a missionary. His grandmother reminded him of this even after he moved to Johannesburg and when he and his family moved to Australia.

Whilst operating a successful business, Tony managed to find time to help at VOM both financially and physically. When the CEO retired the position was offered to Tony who gladly accepted.

Since Christ died, 70 million people have been martyred for their faith. Currently 57 countries have Christians persecuted for their faith, It’s on the increase. Tony has visited many of the countries and notes two things that keep them going. When asked what they need, they all cite the same two responses! Anyone can do it–but you’ll have to listen to find out what it is!

Tony shares some heart wrenching stories that have impacted him. He leaves us with this quote from Richard Wurmbrand, “God will judge us not according to how much we endured, but how much we could love” R.W.
